Hi, I’m Gilda Fontana and I’m a Destination Wedding Videographer in Italy. I am inspired by beauty and empathy to create wedding films that tell your story with fullness and feeling.
Each story is born from an incessant creative research that feeds on many elements: music, art, cinema and the desire to always find new interpretations in order to create unique contents.
As a writer composes stories enclosed in books, the videographer “writes moving images” enclosed in a wedding video.
Destination Wedding brings together many of my passions: the theme of adventure, travel, discovery, looking at the world with curious eyes, as if it were the first time!
The Italy Wedding Videographer, as well as the Italian Wedding Photographer, becomes a travel companion, an explorer of new places and emotions. Only with passion, experience and maximum organization that a unique artistic content can be produced, which will accompany the married couple throughout their lives.
One of the most stimulating aspects of the Destination Wedding is the travel experience. The couple decides to take on this adventure and share it with those they love most. The journey is discovery!

Even if I should call it a profession I just can’t do it. For me, being a Wedding Videographer in Italy is a passion. I’ve always been an explorer, a curious person. And I always relive intense emotions every time I accompany the couple towards the beginning of their journey in a place “far from home” (for me and for them).
A place that is the scene of strong emotions for us, and a canvas on which to paint the story of a day that lasts a lifetime.
Travel for me is a mood, a state, always a symptom of culture, passion, knowledge, dynamism and evolution.
Since I started this journey I have always looked for new motivations thanks to which I have achieved great result and unexpected successes:

Telling Emotions, Knowing Destinations
I am a very empathic person and it is nice for me to experience emotions together with a spouses, to capture their gazes and to seize the moments even if they belong to a different tradition.
My working method involves clear, effective and efficient communication. It is essential for me to get to know the couples who choose me through calls and to support them throughout the organizational process.
Knowing how to work in a team is essential especially when other professional figures are involved such as Wedding Planner and other suppliers/vendors.
My film language aims to enhance the beauty of places and emotions, through images, sounds that highlight their value.
Some of the most important elements in my films are: the use of still and moving images, stunning aerial images that show the scenarios of the most beautiful Italian venues and the construction of a storytelling that tells the wedding day with emotion and empathy.
